San Diego artist opens exhibition at Sparks Gallery
By Annie Abrahamson
On Sunday, December 1, San Diego artist Duke Windsor opens his solo show at Sparks Gallery, unveiling his newest collection of work. In this exhibition, Windsor uses gold leaf to create a wonderlust portrayal of the back streets of San Diego neighborhoods. The exhibition runs December 1 through March 1, and will open with a public reception on 12/1 from 6-9pm. Wine sales from the reception will benefit Escondido Arts Partnership–Municipal Gallery. RSVP here to receive one free drink ticket.
As an added bonus, on January 29, Duke Windsor will lead a workshop on the process of gilding in gold leaf and applying it to artwork using both traditional and experimental techniques (no experience necessary). Click here for tickets.
