The 24th Annual Taste of Gaslamp presented by Karl Strauss was a huge success last Saturday! Not only did we have new attendees try out the excellent dining options in the Gaslamp Quarter, but the event was a SELL OUT!
26 General Admission restaurants fed over 1000 attendees and 7 VIP locations catered to the 250 VIP ticket holders. Karl Strauss brewery sponsored a Beer Garden at the historic park where guests could quench their thirst tasting, Karl Strauss, Benchmark and Black Plague Brews. At the Beer Garden, George Ferris and his band played some tunes and guests could vote for Best Dish and Best Ambiance of the Taste of Gaslamp! The votes are in and it was close…..the winners were….
Best Dish: Gaslamp Fish House- Butterscotch pudding with salted caramel
Best Ambiance: barleymash- House made tuna salad on a bagel crostini- Live Music, and tour of their nightclub (Gingers)
