This Halloween, Paradise Is Lost.

Deep within the overgrown jungle, an abandoned tavern has been uncovered—but something inside is still stirring. This spooky season, LandShark Bar & Grill transforms into Lost Temple Tavern, a haunted tropical outpost crawling with tangled vines, ancient relics, cursed castaways, tropical skeletons, and remnants of an expedition that never made it home.

Follow the overgrown trail inside for immersive Halloween décor, eerie photo ops, interactive entertainment, island-inspired bites, and sinister tropical cocktails like the Lost Soul Punch, Black Bat, Rigor Mortis, and Bloody Ghost Skull Shot. Costumes are highly encouraged—this is Halloween in paradise, after all.

DJs: Fridays & Saturdays beginning at 7:30 PM
Halloween Night: A mysterious Witch Doctor roams the Lost Temple from 7:30–9:30 PM with spooky interactions, surprises, and photo opportunities.

Admission is FREE.

Step inside the historic Davis-Horton House and explore the darker side of the Gaslamp Quarter with historian Sandee Wilhoit. Hear chilling stories of ghostly happenings from the past and present before venturing through the neighborhood to discover the haunted history behind historic hotels, old saloons, former brothels, and even a long-ago funeral parlor.

It’s the perfect October experience for history lovers, ghost hunters, and anyone ready to discover the Gaslamp’s supernatural side.

Ready to go ghost hunting?

Step inside the Davis-Horton House, the oldest building in Downtown San Diego and one of the West Coast’s famously haunted historic homes, for a self-guided paranormal adventure.

Each guest receives museum admission, a self-guided tour exploring the ghostly legends of the Davis-Horton House, and an EMF meter—a real ghost-hunting device—to use while investigating the historic Victorian home.

Explore at your own pace, keep an eye on that EMF meter, and discover for yourself what—or who—may still be hanging around.

Tours are available Thursdays through Saturdays from 10 AM–3:30 PM. Wednesday hours vary; contact the Gaslamp Museum for availability.
