Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase

Rev up to the Gaslamp Quarter on the second Sunday of October for the Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase from 11:00AM to 4:00PM. This free to view San Diego car show features more than 150 high-performance, luxury, contemporary, classic, and rare cars and motorcycles along six blocks of 5th Avenue, between E and K Street.

Think your hot wheels are worthy of winning Best in Class, or even Best of Show in 2016? To showcase your car, you can either register online OR mail in your 2016 entry application and entry fee (cars: $40 by September 23; $50 after | motorcycles: $20 before September 23; $25 after). Entry includes lunch at a participating Gaslamp Quarter restaurant.

Event Schedule

  • 11:00AM: Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase (FAAS) Open to the Public
  • 11:00AM – 2:00PM: car2go Park2Win Challenge | At 5th Ave. & K St. Test your parking skills and enter for a chance to win an iPad mini courtesy of car2go San Diego
  • 2:00PM: People’s Choice Ballots | Due at FAAS Info Booth at 5th Ave. & Market St. Place your vote for your favorite car/motorcycle in the entire show!
  • 3:30PM: FAAS Awards Presentation | Hosted at Henry’s Pub (618 Fifth Ave.) Announcing the winners of the car2go Park2Win Challenge, People’s Choice, and Best of Show Awards
  • 4:00PM: FAAS “Rev Up & Roll Out” Watch as FAAS cars and motorcycles rev up and “roll out of the Gaslamp Quarter along Fifth Avenue

Joining us as a guest? This family-friendly event is free to view and open to public! Spend a day in the Gaslamp Quarter, taking in the breathtaking views of stunning automobiles along Fifth Avenue while exploring the district’s unique shops and galleries or enjoy a delicious meal on a Gaslamp open-air patio. HELPFUL TIP: Make sure you know the most affordable parking option when visiting the Fifth Avenue Auto Showcase.
